The European Fine Art Foundation (TEFAF) is a globally renowned organization dedicated to promoting excellence in fine art and antiques. With a rich history and international presence, TEFAF fosters a deep appreciation for art and connects collectors, museums, and art enthusiasts worldwide. TEFAF organizes two leading art fairs—TEFAF Maastricht, which covers 7,000 years of art history, and TEFAF New York, focused on modern and contemporary art and design.

Key Responsibilities

As a Digital Marketing Manager you will play a key role in growing TEFAF’s global brand presence. You will oversee and execute marketing strategies across social media and email marketing channels, collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver creative, data driven campaigns that reflect TEFAF’s prestige and passion for art.

Social Media:

  • Lead the social media strategy and calendar—creating, scheduling, and coordinating regular social media content for TEFAF fairs and brand initiatives
  • Write engaging, thoughtful, well-researched, and brand appropriate copy in line with TEFAF’s tone of voice and style guide
  • Design and development of social media assets that align with TEFAF’s branding
  • Collaborate with photographers and designers on production and delivery of social media assets and materials
  • Manage community engagement, monitor interactions and respond to inquiries promptly across social platforms
  • Support development of paid social media strategy
  • Analyze and report on campaign metrics and identify areas for optimization
  • Stay informed about emerging digital technologies and trends and social media and design

Email marketing:

  • Develop and manage TEFAF’s email marketing strategy and calendar
  • Design and development of email marketing templates and campaigns that align with TEFAF’s branding
  • Write and edit brand appropriate copy aligned with TEFAF’s tone and style guide for use across email
  • Implement personalization, automation, and advanced features to further enhance TEFAF’s engagement
  • Uphold and educate on best practices to ensure optimum email delivery
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, and/or Art History, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in social media and/or email marketing ideally within the art, luxury, or cultural industries
  • Understanding of the art market and its evolving digital landscape
  • Proficiency using design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and digital platforms (Sprout, Mailchimp, CMS, Google Analytics)
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills and creative mindset
  • Excellent multitasking and collaboration abilities
  • Proactive, adaptable and detail-oriented with a passion for art and storytelling
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Highly organized with solid project management experience
